What are the symptoms of indigestion?

What are the symptoms of indigestion?

Because babies have poor self-control and adults are afraid that they will not be full, they always want them to eat more. This makes it easier for them to have food overload, which can cause bad breath, loss of appetite, constipation and other symptoms. You should pay more attention to prevention in normal times, do not let your baby overeat, and also do moderate exercise.

1. Bad breath

Babies with indigestion usually have bad breath. This is because food accumulates in the stomach and generates heat under the action of stomach acid. This heat is what people often call stomach fire. When this stomach fire rushes to the mouth, it will cause bad breath. If mothers want to determine whether their baby has indigestion, they can check his mouth and nose. If you can smell a sour and rotten smell, it means your baby has indigestion.

2. Loss of appetite

Babies with indigestion usually don’t have a good appetite. Even if it is their favorite food, they often don’t want to eat more. Although they eat very little every day, mothers can still find that their stomachs are round and bulging. This is because of abdominal distension caused by food accumulation in the baby’s stomach.

3. Constipation

Babies with indigestion will have more internal heat, which can cause constipation. However, constipation caused by indigestion can manifest in two forms: one is constipation and the other is diarrhea. When babies have diarrhea, mothers can find a lot of undigested food in their stools, and the stools have a pungent smell.

4. Tongue coating

The tongue coating can reflect many conditions of the human body, including food accumulation. When the baby's tongue coating is white, thick and greasy, and accompanied by bad breath, it means that the baby has indigestion.

5. Poor sleep

Babies with indigestion generally do not sleep very well. This is because they have too much internal heat that cannot dissipate quickly. If parents find that their baby tosses and turns restlessly during sleep, and is also sweating and grinding his teeth, they should consider the possibility that the baby has indigestion.
