What are the symptoms of lymphoma

What are the symptoms of lymphoma

Tumors are very serious in the eyes of many people, and lymphoma is also a common type of tumor. Lymphoma is treatable and the symptoms are very obvious, including not only local symptoms but also some systemic symptoms. The more typical symptom is swollen lymph nodes.

1. Swollen lymph nodes: mainly in the neck, followed by the armpits, groin, etc. About 60% of lymphomas are first discovered as swollen lymph nodes in the neck. In the early stages, they are painless and itchy, so they are often ignored. However, they will gradually increase in number and become larger and larger.

2. General discomfort: fever, weight loss, and night sweats. Some patients may experience irregular fever, weight loss, and night sweats. Do not think that they are caused by a cold. They may also be signs of early lymphoma.

3. Digestive system symptoms: often manifested as loss of appetite, abdominal pain, diarrhea, etc. Some patients may also experience intestinal infarction and intestinal bleeding.

4. Skin lesions: Skin lesions are polymorphic, including erythema, blisters, erosions, etc. Itch is often a sign of Hodgkin's lymphoma. Localized itching occurs in the local lymph node drainage area, while generalized itching mostly occurs in lesions in the mediastinum or abdomen.

5. About 60% of lymphomas first manifest as swollen lymph nodes, which are painless and itchy in the early stages and are therefore often ignored. The early symptoms of lymphoma are very similar to swollen lymph nodes, but swollen lymph nodes are benign, while lymphoma is malignant. Therefore, when the above symptoms appear, you must not act on your own, but go to a regular hospital for diagnosis in time to avoid delaying the disease. If the disease is detected and diagnosed early, the chances of treatment will be greatly improved.
