Can pulmonary fibrosis be cured?

Pulmonary interstitial fibrosis can be cured if it can be discovered early and scientific treatment measures are taken as soon as possible. Current treatment methods include Western medicine and Chinese medicine. Western medicine treatment includes hormone therapy and the use of some bronchodilators.

1. Western medicine treatment

Chinese patent medicine: Yupingfeng Granules.

(2) Deficiency of both Qi and Yin, with phlegm and blood stasis blocking the lungs: dry cough with little or no phlegm, wheezing and shortness of breath, which worsens with movement, fatigue, dry mouth and throat, fever in the five parts of the body, sore waist and weak knees, pale red tongue with thin white fur or little coating, and a thin and slippery or weak pulse.

Treatment method: Nourish the lungs and kidneys, resolve phlegm and promote blood circulation.

Prescription: 15 grams each of Pseudostellaria baicalensis, Rehmannia glutinosa, Cornus officinalis, Chinese yam, and Poria cocos, 30 grams of Ophiopogon japonicus, 10 grams of Schisandra chinensis, 10 grams of Moutan bark, 10 grams of Alisma orientalis, 30 grams of raw Astragalus, 30 grams of Lilium, 15 grams of walnut meat, 30 grams of Salvia miltiorrhiza, 10 grams of Aster tataricus, and 6 grams of Fritillaria cirrhosa powder (taken with water).

Chinese patent medicine: Shengmai Yin oral liquid, Liuwei Dihuang Pills.

3. Traditional Chinese medicine treatment
