Why does the skin lack water

Dehydrated skin can lead to problems such as dry skin, acne, and spots. The main reason for skin dehydration is that the surface cells cannot transport nutrients. If the skin is exposed to dust for a long time, the pores will be clogged, blackheads will grow, and oil will not be secreted, causing the skin system to collapse. Especially in the drier seasons, you must drink more water and eat some fruits to supplement vitamin C. So why does the skin lack water?

The skin's natural moisturizing system has been weakened to varying degrees. The lack of natural moisturizing factors makes it impossible to transport moisture from the dermis to the epidermis and create a healthy dermis-epidermis water supply system. This causes the skin to be dehydrated, and then problems such as excessive oil secretion and allergies arise. There are many types of skin dehydration, the main ones are: oily dehydration, sensitive dehydration, congenital dehydration, environmental dehydration and so on. The main reasons for dry and dehydrated facial skin are as follows:

1: Age factor. Aging is one of the causes of dry skin. The older you are, the lower the estrogen level in your body, the less sebum secretion, the less water your skin can hold, and the drier your skin becomes.

2: Climate factors. The climate changes with the seasons. Changes in the external climate will lead to abnormal secretion of sebaceous glands and sweat glands, making the surface of the skin rougher and the resistance weakened. Over time, it may become habitually dry.

3: Bad living habits. Bad living habits such as lack of sleep, excessive fatigue and partial eating habits can easily damage the physical condition and worsen blood circulation. When health is out of balance, the skin will lose vitality and easily become dry and rough.

4: Improper use of cosmetics. Modern people cannot live without cosmetics, especially urban office workers. If cosmetics are overused or used improperly, the skin's ability to secrete oil will easily decrease, leading to dryness and dehydration. Dermatologists remind: People with dry and dehydrated skin should remember to replenish facial cream after washing their face or taking a bath, especially after showering with hot water, as the skin will be degreased and dehydrated. If there is strong wind or strong sunlight at this time, the skin will soon develop erythema and desquamation.
