Treatments for osteoarthritis include:

1. Treat according to symptoms, and appropriately cooperate with external medications, physical therapy, acupuncture and other treatment methods. In the case of pain, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs can be used for analgesic treatment. Pay attention to proper calcium supplementation.

2. Jogging. For elderly people whose knee joint symptoms are not very serious, jogging is a good way to enhance the elasticity of joint ligaments. When running, it is best to land with the front half of the foot first to cushion the shock of the legs and prevent knee joint injuries. It is not advisable to stop immediately after running, but to walk slowly or mark time on the spot.

3. High horse stance. Bend your knees slightly (10-30 degrees) until there is no pain in the knee joints. Squat still with your hands raised and your eyes looking forward. Start by holding this position for a few minutes and then gradually increase the time. Generally, it only takes about 10 minutes each time, and you can do it once in the morning and once in the evening.

4. Lie on your back and lift your legs. Lie on your back in bed, lift the affected leg about 15 degrees. When you first do it, you can hold it for 1 to 3 minutes. After practicing for a period of time, try to keep your leg lifted in the air for 10 to 15 minutes. You can then practice picking up a pillow with your feet to increase your strength, 2 to 3 times a day.
