What causes blood clots in urine? Beware of these reasons

Hematuria is a common clinical symptom, which refers to the increase of hemoglobin in urine, but many people do not know what blood clots in urine are. There are many reasons for blood clots in urine, and traditional Chinese medicine has a different understanding of blood clots in urine. Patients should take it very seriously when they have blood clots in urine.

1. From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, blood clots in urine are mostly caused by heat disturbing the blood, which accumulates in the kidneys and bladder, damaging the blood vessels, causing the blood to flow abnormally, and blood to come out of the urine, resulting in hematuria. The onset site is in the kidneys and bladder, but it is closely related to the heart, small intestine, liver, and spleen, and can be divided into deficiency and excess. Common symptoms include hyperactivity of heart fire, damp-heat in bladder, damp-heat in liver and gallbladder, kidney deficiency and hyperactivity of fire, and deficiency of both spleen and kidney.

2. The medical understanding of blood clots in urine is that it is caused by diseases of the urinary system itself, among which glomerular diseases, renal cysts, stones, urinary tract infections and tumors are the most common. Other diseases such as coagulation abnormalities and systemic diseases can also cause hematuria.

3. There are many common diseases that cause blood clots in urine, mainly the following: Urinary tract stones: including kidney, ureter, bladder or urethra stones. Urinary and reproductive system infections: such as pyelonephritis, renal tuberculosis, cystourethritis, etc. Primary nephritis: including acute and chronic nephritis, focal nephritis, benign acute hemorrhagic nephritis, etc. Urogenital tumors: kidney tumors, ureter tumors, bladder tumors, etc. Other urinary system diseases: such as renal ptosis, wandering kidney, congenital polycystic kidney, etc.

4. Hematuria is often caused by urinary diseases. Human urine is produced in the kidneys and excreted from the body through the renal pelvis, ureters, bladder, and urethra. Whenever these organs are diseased, bleeding will occur, which can cause hematuria. Normal hematuria is invisible to the naked eye and can only be detected through laboratory testing. If you see red urine or blood clots in the urine, it means that the hematuria has reached a very serious level.
