What is sinus arrhythmia? These things cannot be ignored

Sinus arrhythmia is a common heart disease in life. Many people ignore this disease because the symptoms are not very obvious and many people do not pay attention to their own health. As the disease becomes more serious, sinus arrhythmia can cause other complications in the heart, which is very harmful to the body. So what is sinus arrhythmia? These things cannot be ignored.

The heartbeat of a healthy person is generally directed by a thing (headquarters) called the "sinoatrial node" in our right atrium. The signal it sends stimulates the heartbeat, which is called normal "sinus rhythm". The frequency is about 60 to 100 times per minute, and this frequency is generally regular. "Sinus arrhythmia" means that the signal from the sinoatrial node is not completely regular. Many factors may lead to this phenomenon, and adolescents are more significantly affected by the following two factors.

1. In the nervous system, the autonomic nerves are not controlled by human will, but rely on the sympathetic nerves and vagus nerves to coordinate and balance in order to adapt to changes in the external environment.

2. The autonomic nervous function of children in adolescence is often not stable enough and is prone to disorder or dysfunction. Once the sympathetic nervous activity becomes dominant, it may lead to adolescent arrhythmia. Most of these conditions are just temporary functional disorders that disappear after puberty.

3. It will be affected by breathing. Its characteristic is that it changes with breathing. The heart rate may increase by several beats when inhaling and slow down by several beats when exhaling. Its fast and slow cycle is exactly equal to one breathing cycle. The heart rhythm becomes regular when holding the breath. This "sinus arrhythmia" that changes with breathing is normal.

4. It is recommended that parents of children diagnosed with "sinus arrhythmia" can guide them to pay attention to whether there is any relationship between the acceleration and deceleration of their heart rate and their breathing. As long as there are no other symptoms, no treatment is required and they can engage in normal study and life.

5. In addition, factors such as inadvertent closing of eyes and mental stress may also cause "sinus arrhythmia", which also does not require treatment. For most children, "compared sinus arrhythmia" generally has no important clinical significance, and parents do not need to worry too much.
