Saury is the only species in the genus Saury, family Saury, order Gnaphalidae, and is also one of the important edible fishes. It is an important fishery resource in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and the lakes along the river, and the main breeding object in lakes and ponds. It is one of the "four major carps" in my country's freshwater farming.
