What causes headaches?

Friends who are always prone to headaches need to understand the causes, because neuralgia can be said to be the most common problem in life. In addition, if you have a cold or a fever, it is also easy to cause headaches.

1. Neurogenic migraine. Basically, most people who have headaches under normal circumstances have neurogenic migraines. A very obvious feature of neurogenic migraines is that one side of the brain hurts while the other side does not, and the pain may also migrate. If you have a neuralgic migraine, you can perform appropriate self-regulation, such as: lying down to rest, applying ice packs, pressing acupoints, wearing a headband, applying hot compresses, etc. The most important thing is to pay attention to your daily rest. More rest can greatly relieve neuralgic migraines. Of course, if you have long-term migraines, you need to go to a regular hospital for specialized treatment.

2. Headache caused by cold. Nearly one-third of people will experience symptoms of headache and dizziness after catching a cold. This phenomenon is normal, which shows that the cold has a huge impact on the human brain. For those suffering from colds and headaches, the most important thing is to prevent colds, enhance immunity, participate in more indoor and outdoor sports, enhance the body's disease resistance, and reduce the incidence of headaches caused by colds. Therefore, if you have a cold and a headache, you must take anti-cold treatment in time.

3. Headache caused by fever. Patients with fever will basically have more or less headache. After all, fever is more severe than the headache caused by a cold. A fever can cause much more damage to the brain than a cold. Therefore, headaches caused by fever are not a big problem. Seek medical attention in time, lower your body temperature, pay attention to daily personal body protection, prevent high fever, and avoid headaches caused by high fever.

4. Headache caused by drinking. Generally speaking, drinking a small amount of alcohol will not cause a headache, but everyone's physique and physical condition are different. Some people get a headache after drinking alcohol, which is also very common. Headaches caused by drinking are mainly the result of alcohol stimulating the brain nerves. Therefore, in this situation, of course, try not to drink alcoholic beverages, let alone strong liquor. Of course, drinking too much alcohol can cause headaches. It is recommended that everyone drink in moderation and not to drink excessively.
