What are the symptoms of systemic candida infection

Systemic candidiasis is an infection in multiple parts of the body. It is an invasive infection. The symptoms of systemic Candida infection are also quite obvious, and the symptoms of infection in each part are different. In severe cases, other organs in the body may also be affected.

1. Systemic candidiasis is an invasive infection caused by Candida species, mainly Candida albicans, which manifests as fungemia, endocarditis, meningitis and focal lesions of the liver, spleen, kidney, bone, skin and subcutaneous tissue or other tissues. Infections in different parts of the body cause different symptoms, and can invade the skin and mucous membranes as well as affect the internal organs.

2. Candida albicans can cause many diseases in humans, but it can usually live peacefully in many parts of the body, such as the vagina. Even some men and women with a history of promiscuous sex may not necessarily develop the disease, they are just latent sources of infection. Infection only occurs when certain changes in the body environment make it suitable for Candida to multiply in large numbers. Diabetes, oral contraceptives, drugs, pregnancy and food can all be causes of infection.

3. Candidiasis is an acute or chronic infection of the skin, mucous membranes and internal organs caused by fungi of the genus Candida (mainly Candida albicans). Under normal circumstances, Candida is widely distributed in nature and in the oral cavity, gastrointestinal tract, vaginal mucosa and skin of the human body. Individuals with low immunity, such as those who use a large amount of broad-spectrum antibiotics, corticosteroids, immunosuppressants, and patients with diabetes and tumors, are prone to Candida infection.
