Are neurofibromas serious?

Whether neurofibroma is serious depends on the patient's symptoms. At present, there is no specific treatment for this disease, and surgical resection can be said to be the only effective method.

3. There is currently no specific treatment. Surgical resection is the only effective treatment for this disease. Some patients can use radiotherapy, and those with epilepsy can use anti-epileptic drugs. The remaining measures are mainly symptomatic treatment.

4. Preventive measures include avoiding consanguineous marriage, carrier gene testing, prenatal diagnosis and selective abortion to prevent the birth of affected children. Early diagnosis and treatment of sporadic cases can prolong survival. It can control the metastasis of tumor cells and enhance human immunity.

5. It can inhibit tumor angiogenesis. Because tumor metastasis and growth rely on establishing a vascular system of their own and obtaining nutrients from the human body to meet their needs for rapid growth, it can inhibit the signal pathways that form tumor blood vessels, thereby controlling tumor growth and metastasis. It can also inhibit the growth of tumor cells and kill tumor cells.
