What are the early symptoms of liver cancer? To prevent liver cancer, eat more of these foods

Currently, the risk factors for liver cancer in my country include: viral hepatitis, eating food contaminated with aflatoxin and its mycotoxin, chemical carcinogens, water pollution, drinking, etc. In addition, disease factors, genetic factors and nutritional factors also have an impact.

What are the early symptoms of liver cancer?

1. Early symptoms of liver cancer are generally asymptomatic. About 1/3 of lung cancer patients have no obvious early symptoms, and can only rely on regular examinations to detect the lesions early. This is a more troublesome symptom, because many lung cancer patients do not have the habit of regular physical examinations. Many of them will only think of going to the hospital for examination when they have serious symptoms. However, at that time, the condition has often begun to deteriorate, and the hope for cure is generally not great. Therefore, develop the habit of regular physical examinations and check and diagnose symptoms in time.

2. Hoarseness in patients with liver cancer is one of the most important early signs of lung cancer and a new discovery that experts at home and abroad have been exploring in recent years. Hoarseness can occur in pharyngitis, colds, acute bronchitis, thyroid surgery, pharyngeal surgery, improper vocalization, excessive speech, or even after heavy smoking and drinking. Therefore, this is also an early symptom of liver cancer.

3. Some of the early symptoms of liver cancer, such as cough, chest pain, hemoptysis, etc., lack characteristic features, while hoarseness has certain specificity. According to statistics, about 20%-30% of lung cancer patients may experience hoarseness at different stages of the disease, including the early stage, and the rate in central lung cancer is as high as 40%.

4. Fever. A considerable number of liver cancer patients will sweat and have fever. Most fevers are low to moderate, and a few patients may have high fevers, above 39°C, generally not accompanied by chills. The fever of liver cancer is mostly cancerous fever, which is caused by the release of pyrogens into the blood circulation after tumor tissue necrosis. Tumor patients are prone to infection due to low resistance, and fever may also occur. It is sometimes difficult to distinguish from cancerous fever of liver cancer. It is necessary to combine blood counts and observe whether antibacterial treatment is effective to make a judgment.

5. Lower limb edema. Patients with liver cancer and ascites often have lower limb edema. In mild cases, it occurs at the ankles, and in severe cases, it can spread to the entire lower limbs. Clinically, some patients have been seen with severe lower limb edema, and fluid can seep out of the thigh skin. The main cause of lower limb edema is ascites compressing the lower limb veins or cancer thrombus blocking them, which obstructs venous return. Mild edema can also be caused by low plasma albumin.

Studies have found that eating vegetables and fruits can reduce the risk of cancer. So, what foods can prevent liver cancer?

1. Dairy products

Medical research has shown that if you consume dairy products, including milk and yogurt, every day while controlling your alcohol intake, your risk of liver cancer will be reduced by 78%. Currently, children have developed the habit of consuming dairy products, but only a few adults do, so this may be improved.

2. "Three Bamboo Shoots"

The three shoots are bamboo shoots, lettuce and asparagus. Experts suggest that eating more of these three foods on a daily basis can reduce the incidence of liver cancer, and they are also delicious.

3. Carrots and citrus

The protective effect of vegetables and fruits on the liver is produced by the interaction between the vitamins, minerals, fibers, etc. in them. Green leafy vegetables, carrots, potatoes and citrus fruits have the strongest preventive effect. Dr. Dong Jing recommends eating five or more kinds of vegetables and fruits every day, including a glass of juice in the morning, a piece of fruit in the morning and afternoon, and two or more servings of vegetables at dinner. The total daily intake is about 400-800 grams, which can reduce your risk of liver cancer by 20%.

4. Tieguanyin

People in southern Fujian love to drink tea, which is very beneficial for preventing liver cancer. Tieguanyin, which is common in southern Fujian, is the best, and Longjing before the rain is also good.
