Acute gastroenteritis is mostly caused by unhygienic diet or food poisoning. Especially now that everyone likes to eat out, food hygiene cannot be guaranteed. To treat acute gastroenteritis, you need more rest and severe cases require intravenous treatment. 1. General treatment: Patients with mild acute gastroenteritis can take general conservative treatment, try to ensure that the patient is in bed rest, and those who vomiting is not very serious can directly take oral glucose electrolyte solution. If the patient has severe vomiting and diarrhea, intravenous injection of 5%~10% glucose saline and other electrolytes is required. It is recommended that the patient eat light liquid food or semi-liquid diet for a few days to prevent dehydration caused by excessive water loss. 2. Symptomatic treatment: For patients with severe vomiting symptoms, antiemetics or antispasmodics can be injected intravenously to calm the patient's gastrointestinal tract and alleviate the symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea, so as to avoid excessive water loss caused by high school vomiting and diarrhea. For symptoms such as headache and fever, the patient can be cooled physically and given painkillers to relieve the headache. 3. Antibacterial treatment: Some patients suffer from gastroenteritis because their diet contains a large number of pathogenic bacteria. There will be a large number of pathogenic bacteria in the bodies of these patients. If these pathogenic bacteria are not eliminated, it will lead to persistent systemic fever symptoms and repeated nausea and vomiting. However, the pathogenic bacteria of this disease are not very harmful to the body, and it is not suitable to take antibiotics. Clinically, different treatments are given according to the different conditions of the patients. In severe cases, targeted antibiotics can be used appropriately. 4. Prevention of acute gastroenteritis 1. Maintaining good hygiene, diet management, feces management, and eliminating flies are key measures to prevent acute gastroenteritis. 2. The food in the refrigerator should be managed separately, with raw and cooked food stored in separate layers, and food should be cooked thoroughly before being eaten. 3. Exercise more to enhance your own resistance and prevent mild acute gastroenteritis. |
