What should I do if I have a fever but don't sweat?

If you always have a fever but don't sweat, it will cause certain obstacles to the treatment of high fever, so we need to use certain methods to help solve it effectively, such as pressing some acupoints and rubbing the Ershanmen, which can have a good sweating effect.

1. Cook soup with scallion, ginger slices, and dried chili segments. Be sure to drink it while it's hot. I won't analyze the pharmacology of it, but it will definitely make you sweat. Of course, if you have a fever, you must take appropriate antipyretic drugs, and the problem will naturally be solved.

2. Rub the two doors to induce sweating and relieve symptoms

The two gates are two points, located on both sides of the small head of the third metacarpal bone of the child’s middle finger. You may not understand what I mean by this, but it will become clear after looking at the picture. The second door also has the effect of inducing sweat and relieving exterior symptoms.

You can hold the child's left hand with your left hand, and then put the index finger and middle finger of your right hand on the two points of the second door, and rub clockwise for 150 times. You can also hold the child's left hand with both hands, put your thumbs on the two points of the child's second door, and pinch it 100 times with your fingernails. This acupoint focuses on inducing sweat and relieving exterior symptoms, so it can be used when children have a cold or a fever.

3. Qingtianhe Water - Clears away heat and relieves restlessness

The Tianhe Shui point is a straight line located in the middle of the inner side of the child's forearm, from the transverse line of the wrist to the transverse line of the elbow. Hold the child's left hand with your left hand, and then use the index and middle fingertips of your right hand to push from the wrist line to the elbow line, about 300 times.

These two acupoints are compatible, one reduces fever and the other induces sweating. After pushing them, make sure to keep the child away from wind. It is best to let the child sleep for a while. When the child wakes up, the fever will be gone.
