What's the matter with stomach pain and bloody stool

Abdominal pain and bloody diarrhea seem to be two symptoms, but they can actually occur at the same time. Many people don’t know what stomach pain and bloody stools mean. Generally speaking, abdominal pain and bloody diarrhea at the same time are likely related to enteritis. In this case, the patient must rest more.

1. Abdominal pain and diarrhea occur, but blood is found in the stool. It is not certain whether the bleeding is intestinal bleeding or perianal bleeding, and further observation is needed. Generally, hemorrhoid bleeding is mostly dripping blood after defecation, blood on the surface of the stool, etc., while intestinal bleeding is mostly stool and blood mixed together, etc. It is recommended to observe. First of all, you need to pay attention to rest, drink more hot water, and temporarily do not eat indigestible food and raw, cold, spicy food, etc. If everything is normal, then it’s okay. If abdominal pain and bloody stool occur again, it may be abdominal pain, diarrhea and bloody stool caused by acute enteritis, etc., and you need to take medicine in time.

2. Abdominal pain and blood in the stool, generally considered to be dysentery, it is recommended to take oral Furazolidone tablets and Gentamicin tablets, drink plenty of water, avoid irritating, greasy, spicy food, and if necessary, intravenous treatment can be given.

3. Ulcerative colitis. This disease often causes bloody diarrhea. People with milder symptoms have diarrhea less than 5 times. It is usually accompanied by fever, stomach pain, frequent bowel movements, vomiting, etc. Its specific cause is also very vague and may even be related to a person's mental state. The course of this type of disease is also relatively long, and patients often become emaciated and anemic.

4. Ischemic enteritis. This disease is different from ulcerative colitis. It is caused by colon ischemia. In layman's terms, a problem occurs in a part of the colon, causing ischemia, which leads to damage or necrosis of that part. The main symptoms are bloody stools, stomach pain, and diarrhea. A few people will have symptoms such as vomiting and dizziness. It can be diagnosed through colonoscopy.
