What to do if hemorrhoids cause anal itching

Hemorrhoids are a common anorectal disease in clinical practice. Hemorrhoids have a great impact on people's lives and may cause symptoms of anal itching. Many people don’t know what to do about anal itching caused by hemorrhoids. For this situation, targeted treatment is necessary, which can be achieved through external application of medication.

1. Clinical diagnosis of anal pruritus may be accompanied by internal hemorrhoids, external hemorrhoids, mixed hemorrhoids, and anal fistula. Anal itching can also be caused by eating spicy food. Poor hygiene habits, failure to clean the anus and perineum in time, and scratching and rubbing through pants can aggravate the itching. Poorly dressed, wearing tight clothes, or wearing underwear of uncomfortable texture such as certain chemical fiber fabrics or thick and rough ones, which makes it difficult for sweat to dissipate around the buttocks and friction can also cause anal itching. Therefore, it is still necessary to identify the cause of the disease in order to treat it thoroughly.

2. Some patients may also experience itching symptoms, which is because the rectal mucosa is stimulated by diffuse inflammatory infection, glandular secretion increases, and eczema occurs on the anal skin. Mild scratching will not have much impact on the body. However, if you use too much force, it may cause skin ulcers, abscesses and necrosis, and may lead to pelvic inflammatory disease, sepsis and other diseases. Therefore, do not use too much force when scratching. Therefore, hemorrhoids should be prevented and treated early.

3. Eat as coarse food as possible

It is the season when the weather is dry and people like to eat spicy food and various supplements. This causes hemorrhoid attacks in many people. In fact, you can greatly reduce the incidence of hemorrhoids by simply changing your eating habits. Foods that are high in fiber, vitamins, and have the ability to clear heat and promote bowel movements are all good choices. Coarse grains include buckwheat, oats, corn, taro, etc.; vegetables include white radish, rapeseed, winter melon, cabbage, bitter melon, etc.; fruits include peanuts, sesame seeds, pine nuts, etc.; fruits include bananas, apples, pears, etc. In addition, according to personal constitution, you can use some laxative medicinal diet therapy and try to avoid spicy and irritating foods.
