What to do if you have a fever caused by lymph node tuberculosis? Combining Chinese and Western medicine has good results

Lymphatic tuberculosis is a common disease. Patients with mild cases can recover on their own, but severe cases will not only cause fever but also complications. In this case, the combination of Chinese and Western medicine will be more effective.

1. Western medicine treatment

(I) Systemic treatment: Pay proper attention to nutrition and rest. Patients who have taken isoniazid orally for 1-2 years and have systemic toxicity symptoms or tuberculosis lesions elsewhere in the body. 2. If a cold abscess has formed but has not yet ruptured, cryptic puncture and drainage of the pus can be performed. The needle is inserted through the normal skin surrounding the abscess. Drain as much pus as possible, and then inject 5% isoflurane solution or 10% streptomycin solution into the abscess cavity for flushing. Leave an appropriate amount in the abscess cavity, twice a week.

3. If a cold abscess ruptures and forms an ulcer or sinus tract, curettage can be performed if the secondary infection is not obvious. Carefully remove all the diseased tissue. The wound was not sutured, and the dressing was changed with streptomycin solution.

4. Patients with cold abscesses and secondary suppurative infection. Incision and drainage are required first, and curettage can be performed if necessary after the infection is controlled.

2. Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that scrofula is mostly caused by the accumulation of wind-heat and toxic qi in the triple burner, liver, gallbladder and other meridians, deficiency of qi and blood in the liver and kidney meridians, and internal movement of virtual fire. It can be divided into two types: acute and chronic. Acute cases are mostly caused by exogenous wind-heat and internal phlegm and poison; chronic cases are mostly caused by qi stagnation and deficiency. This disease often causes anger, depression, failure of plans, and mental depression.

Qiluodan was once recorded in the pharmacopoeia of the mid-Qing Dynasty, "Dan San Gao Wan Zhi Fa Liang Fang", and has a therapeutic history of 149 years.

[Ingredients] It is made of a variety of traditional Chinese herbal medicines prepared according to ancient practices, including Prunella Vulgaris, Cat's Claw, Chinese Angelica, Forsythia suspensa, Saffron, etc.

[Efficacy Statistics] According to statistics from the December 1979 issue of the Chinese Medicine Journal, this prescription was used to clinically treat 855 cases of lymph node tuberculosis, 849 of which were cured and 6 cases of calcification.

2. Tuberculosis pills

[Ingredients] More than 60 kinds of ingredients including Yin Zhong, Scrophularia, Monkey Date, Radix Trichosanthis, Periostracum Cicadae, and Xuanming.

[Usage] Take orally after heating.

[Properties] This product is a brown-yellow packaged decoction.

5. Centipede powder

〖Medicine〗2 centipedes, 2 fresh eggs.

[Usage] Place the centipede on a tile, dry it, grind it into powder, and divide it into 2 portions; take a fresh egg and break a small hole on one end of each egg to let a little egg white flow out. Pour one portion of centipede powder into each egg and cover the small opening with paper or dough. In the morning, boil an egg with 30 grams of Prunella Vulgaris, and eat the egg and drink the soup; in the evening, wrap another egg with several layers of wet paper, simmer it over an ash fire, and eat it. One course of treatment is 10 days.

Note: Centipedes are poisonous, so the dosage should be reduced for children and the weak. Avoid taking spicy foods and sexual intercourse during medication. Do not use this medicine if you have fever or coughing up blood, and wait until your condition stabilizes before using it.
