Liver cancer is a cancer with a high incidence rate in life and has a great impact on liver health. There will be targeted treatments for each stage of liver cancer, and the same is true for late-stage liver cancer. Patients should have a good attitude towards treatment so as not to affect the treatment effect. 1. Surgical treatment. Surgery is currently the traditional method for treating liver cancer. In recent years, due to the updates and progress in the early diagnosis, localization diagnosis, tumor biology and several surgical concepts of liver cancer, especially the combined treatment with traditional Chinese medicine, the surgical treatment effect of liver cancer has been significantly improved. They mainly include the following: Various local treatments during surgery for unresectable tumors: ① Intraoperative chemotherapy and ligation of the hepatic artery and portal vein; ② Intraoperative chemotherapy with an implantable infusion pump; ③ Intraoperative implantable microwave radiation therapy; ④ Intraoperative cryotherapy; ⑤ Intraoperative electrochemical therapy; ⑥ Tamoxifen plus liver perfusion chemotherapy; ⑦ Sequential treatment of liver cancer. 2. Chemotherapy. Can advanced liver cancer be cured? 95% of liver cancer patients have already lost the opportunity for surgery when diagnosed, and most liver cancer patients still rely on chemotherapy. In the past, chemotherapy for liver cancer was not highly evaluated, especially systemic administration, which had little effect. In recent years, the route of chemotherapy administration has been changed, and hepatic artery chemotherapy and embolization have been performed, which has significantly improved the chemotherapy effect of liver cancer. It is currently believed that catheter-based chemotherapy is superior to combined systemic chemotherapy, and combined chemotherapy is superior to single-drug chemotherapy. Hepatic artery catheterization chemotherapy is considered to be the best treatment for patients with liver cancer who are not suitable for surgery. 3. Radiotherapy. In recent years, with the progress of research in radiation physics and radiation physiology, radiotherapy equipment has been improved, and the use of cobalt-60 gamma rays or X-rays and high-energy rays from electron linear accelerators has also improved the irradiation methods and scope of liver cancer. From the original whole liver irradiation-local irradiation-whole liver mobile radiotherapy-surgically positioned local irradiation and hyperfractionated irradiation, the radiotherapy effect of liver cancer has been significantly improved, and the side effects have been reduced to the lowest level. It mainly includes external radiation therapy and internal radiation therapy. |
