How to treat anal papilloma

Diseases often invade the most vulnerable part of the human body, which is why the human body always gets sick from the inside first. For example, anal papilloma is a typical disease caused by internal factors, which is related to people’s long-term unhealthy eating habits. Having anal papilloma can be very painful, so how to treat anal papilloma?

Anal papilloma refers to the enlargement and hardening of the anal papilla due to long-term stimulation from feces and chronic inflammation. It is one of the common benign tumors of the anorectum. The disease has an insidious onset and progresses slowly. It is a benign tumor and has good results after cure. It is more common in young and middle-aged people, and more common in women than in men. Clinically, in addition to the prolapse of anal papilloma, there are also symptoms such as bleeding after defecation, feeling of incomplete defecation, and anal itching.

1. Surgical treatments are divided into traditional treatments for anal papilloma (cryotherapy, electrocautery) and PPH (stapled hemorrhoidectomy) for the treatment of anal papilloma. Although surgical treatment is a radical cure for anal papilloma, the timing of surgery must be strictly controlled.

For some patients with milder symptoms, non-surgical treatment is still the main treatment method, which is both safe and effective.

2. Sitz bath method: take a hot water sitz bath 1 to 2 times a day, apply local hot compress to improve blood circulation and promote the absorption of inflammation.

3. Apply silver nitrate solution or gentian violet solution on the nipples to cure it.

4. For patients who cannot undergo surgery, Chinese medicine enema treatment should be used in conjunction with the treatment to improve the efficacy. During the operation, attention should be paid to protecting the anal canal skin, minimizing damage to the anal canal skin and avoiding the occurrence of sequelae. If heavy bleeding, pain or edema occurs, local anesthesia should be given promptly, ligation should be performed under the endoscope to stop bleeding, and Chinese medicine sitz bath should be used to relieve pain and swelling.
