Vitamin A in animal foods and carotene in plant foods are the "magic pills" for protecting the eyes and maintaining normal vision. Without them, eyes become dull and vision deteriorates. Because vitamin A and carotene are directly involved in the formation of rhodopsin, a light-absorbing chemical on the retina.

The best sources of vitamin A are the livers of various animals, cod liver oil, milk and eggs. Plant foods, such as carrots, amaranth, spinach, leeks, green peppers, sweet potatoes, and fruits such as oranges, apricots, persimmons, etc. all contain carotene.

5. In addition, calcium powder is good for the eyes, as it can eliminate eye strain. For example, beans, green leafy vegetables and dried shrimps are rich in calcium. Cooking methods such as roasted pork ribs soup, sweet and sour pork ribs with cod can increase the calcium content.

6. In addition, you should pay attention to taking in foods rich in vitamin C in your daily diet, such as various fresh vegetables and fruits, among which green peppers, cucumbers, cauliflower, Chinese cabbage, fresh dates, raw pears and oranges have the highest content.
