Onychomycosis bandaging treatment

Onychomycosis bandaging treatment

If you have onychomycosis, you must seek timely treatment. One of the more important treatment methods is to completely remove the diseased nails so that new nails can gradually grow. During this period, antifungal treatment should be carried out in time. In addition, you can also use some folk remedies for treatment in your life. When treating onychomycosis, you must remain patient and do not believe some of the exaggerated advertisements on the market.

Onychomycosis bandaging treatment

Onychomycosis is a type of onychomycosis caused by fungal infection. The nails become brittle and break and fall off, mostly grayish white and dull; the nails become significantly thickened and have an uneven surface. You can try 10% iodine tincture for external application. This is difficult to cure. If the surface of your nails is not smooth, it is not necessarily onychomycosis. Calcium supplementation can improve the nails.

The following are some folk remedies for treating onychomycosis:

1. Garlic + acetic acid remedy for onychomycosis

Take 20 cloves of garlic, remove the skin, chop or mash them, and put them in a wide-mouthed glass bottle with a stopper. Add 150 ml of 10% acetic acid and soak for one day before use. Soak the diseased nail in warm water for 5 minutes to soften the nail, cut or scrape off the removable diseased nail with scissors, and insert the diseased nail into garlic extract for 15 minutes. Take it 3 times a day and you will see results in a week. If not cured, another course of treatment can be given according to the above method. Sometimes the diseased nail may feel a little painful, but you should persevere. Garlic extract can be stored for a long time and used repeatedly.

2. Impatiens + vinegar remedy for treating onychomycosis

Mash the white Impatiens balsamina, apply it on the nails and bandage them, changing the bandage once a day. It will take about a month to see the effect. Or use 2 to 3 white Impatiens balsamina, soak them in vinegar for a day, and soak the onychomycosis for 10 minutes before going to bed every day without adding water. Effective after 7 consecutive days.

99 Pharmacist's Warm Reminder: It is recommended that patients with onychomycosis do not use oral medications for treatment as the toxic side effects are too great. When treating onychomycosis, it is important to ensure that the medicine penetrates under the nail bed to completely cure it. When treating onychomycosis, you should pay attention to hygiene to prevent reinfection and accidental injury to the nail bed.
