Can a common thermos cup hold milk?

Thermos cups are generally used for drinking water, but many people also use them to make milk. In fact, thermos cups are not suitable for storing milk, and the milk placed in thermos cups will easily deteriorate over time, which is not conducive to nutrient absorption.

1. The thermos cup cannot be used to make milk or to store already made milk.

Soaking milk in a thermos cup for 3-4 hours can cause the milk to go bad. In addition, the constant temperature in the thermos can destroy the vitamins in the milk, which will directly affect the health of the child. Babies are likely to suffer from diarrhea and indigestion after drinking this kind of milk. Moreover, using a thermos to make milk will cause the thermos to produce odor, which is difficult to remove, and is not conducive to extending the service life of the thermos.

2. Generally, milk powder should not be stored at room temperature for more than 4 hours after being prepared , otherwise it will easily deteriorate. It is recommended that the prepared milk powder must be consumed within half an hour. If you cannot finish it, you cannot drink it anymore. At the same time, mothers should pay more attention to understanding their baby's eating habits, and make up for how much their baby eats, trying to avoid wasting food. It is not recommended to give babies overnight milk.

If you go out, mothers can bring a thermos. It is okay to use the water in the thermos to make milk, but you cannot put the milk into the thermos to make milk.

3. Thermos cups have the function of keeping warm , so many people often use thermos cups to hold milk, tea, soy milk and other foods. Especially in winter, more and more people use thermos cups to hold these foods. In fact, not all beverages can be put into thermos cups. Some beverages may produce harmful substances, which are not good for your health.

4. The material of the stainless steel thermos is stainless steel, which is stable and will not change the food or beverages in it in a short time. But don't leave acidic and alkaline foods for a long time. Although stainless steel thermos is more corrosion-resistant than other metals, it is still made of metal after all, and chemical changes will occur over a long period of time.

5. Ninety-nine percent of stainless steel is iron . After fermentation, milk contains carbonic acid, which reacts with iron, corrodes the metal and dissolves a large amount of harmful carcinogens such as nickel or chromium. Therefore, you cannot use a thermos to store juice, dairy products, tea, coffee, etc.
