Gonorrhea is a harmful disease that can be transmitted. It is more common among young people today. On the one hand, young people are more interested in sex. On the other hand, they have a superficial understanding of gonorrhea, especially the harm of gonorrhea. When you are infected with gonorrhea, not only you but also your family members will be harmed. Hazard 1: Prostatitis: When gonococci invade the prostate, it can cause prostatitis. The symptoms are sudden cessation of urination or less urination, but increased urination frequency, turbid urine, and swelling and pain in the perineum. If not treated, it may turn into chronic prostatitis. The urethral opening may be blocked by secretions during the first urination after getting up in the morning, and a small amount of secretions may flow out of the urethral opening when the penis is squeezed. Harm 2: Causing infertility: Men feel burning or mild tingling in the urethra during ejaculation, which hinders the transport of semen. At the same time, gonorrhea retrogradely infects the male prostate, causing sperm abnormalities, and the survival rate and activity of sperm decrease, resulting in infertility. Harm 3. Cause epididymitis and orchitis: After acute urethritis, especially after complications of prostatitis and seminal vesiculitis, gonococci can continue to advance and invade the epididymis tissue, causing epididymis swelling, pain and fever, and reflex pain in the ipsilateral groin and lower abdomen. Gonorrhea can also invade the testicles from the epididymis, causing testicular inflammation. If such complications occur, it often causes occlusion of the epididymis and vas deferens, leading to infertility. Harm 4. Sexual dysfunction: If gonorrhea is not treated in time, gonococci will infect the male prostate, and the bacteria will multiply in the prostate, causing male sexual dysfunction. Men are prone to symptoms such as loss of libido, weak erections, impotence, premature ejaculation and neurasthenia, which will endanger your "sexual happiness". Hazard 5. Serious complications: Male gonorrhea can often be complicated by urethral adenitis, periurethral tissue inflammation and abscess, preputial adenitis, vas deferensitis, seminal vesiculitis, hydrocele, orchitis, prostatitis, balanoposthitis, gonococcal ulcer, epididymitis and urethral stenosis, etc. In severe cases, the rectum, perianal area, conjunctiva and pharynx may also be infected, causing gonococcal proctitis, gonococcal conjunctivitis, gonococcal pharyngitis, post-gonorrheal urethral stenosis, etc. Gonorrhea can also spread through the blood, causing arthritis, hepatitis, and severe cases can be life-threatening. Harm 6. Causes seminal vesiculitis: Gonorrhea invades the posterior urethra and may also invade the seminal vesicle duct, causing inflammation of the seminal vesicle. During the acute attack period, there will be fever, frequent urination, painful urination, and turbid urine at the end of urination, sometimes with blood. |
