How to effectively treat blood arteries

Blood arteries are the blood flowing in the large arteries of the systemic circulation, and blood arteries are the carriers of oxygen from the alveoli to other tissues of the body. If any abnormal problems occur, they will directly affect our health, so any abnormal problems must be taken seriously.

1. Arterial blood is the blood flowing in the arteries of the systemic circulation (large circulation) and the blood in the pulmonary veins returning from the lungs to the left atrium in the pulmonary circulation (small circulation). Arterial blood contains more oxygen and less carbon dioxide and is bright red. Because blood has just been sent from the heart, the arterial walls are subjected to higher blood pressure. Arterial blood is the carrier that transports oxygen from the alveoli to other tissues of the body (to be precise, the hemoglobin in the red blood cells in the arterial blood is the carrier). Arterial blood becomes venous blood as it passes through other tissues, where oxygen is taken up and carbon dioxide is released.

II. Definition

Arterial blood is the blood that flows in the arteries of the systemic circulation (macrocirculation) and the blood in the pulmonary veins that returns from the lungs to the left atrium in the pulmonary circulation (macrocirculation). Arterial blood contains more oxygen and less carbon dioxide and is bright red.

3. Expansion

1. Here we need to correct a misconception: not everything that flows in the arteries is necessarily arterial blood. For example, the pulmonary artery carries venous blood, while the pulmonary vein carries arterial blood.

2. In fact, for the sake of easy memory, you only need to know that the blood flowing in the pulmonary arteries and veins is exactly the opposite of that in other parts of the human body, that is, the blood flowing in the pulmonary veins is arterial blood, and the blood flowing in the pulmonary arteries is venous blood. The arteries flowing in other parts of the human body are arterial blood, and the veins are venous blood.

3. In addition, a special situation about arterial blood in the human body is that arterial blood flows in the afferent arterioles and efferent arterioles at both ends of the glomerulus composed of arterial microvessels. This is because there is basically no loss of oxygen when it flows through the glomerulus. This also proves that the view that capillaries have venous blood flowing at one end and arterial blood flowing at the other end is wrong.
