What's going on with 50 shoulders

What's going on with 50 shoulders

Many people suffer from frozen shoulder, which actually mainly refers to the phenomenon of frozen shoulder that is easy to occur after people over 50 years old. Patients are advised to pay attention to improving treatment in life and pay attention to correct exercise. Hand shaking exercise is better, convenient and effective.

1. Periarthritis of the shoulder is commonly known as "leaky shoulder". Because it often occurs around the age of 50, it is also called "fifty shoulders". With shoulder pain and dysfunction as the main symptoms, it is a chronic degenerative disease of the shoulder joint capsule and the soft tissue around the joint. The disease occurs mainly in people over 40 years old, especially those aged 50 to 60, and more often in women than in men. Some patients with frozen shoulder can recover without treatment, and very few are left with only mild functional impairment.

2. After suffering from periarthritis of the shoulder, it is difficult to move the shoulders and arms, and the pain worsens with movement. However, you should still move your shoulders more often, such as shaking your hands, shrugging your shoulders, and reaching high, which can relieve pain and help restore shoulder joint function. In principle, patients are required to persevere in exercise, proceed step by step, and vary from person to person. The following methods can be used:

3. Improvement Methods

1. The bend and shake shoulder method: bend over and stretch your arms, and do shoulder joint rotation exercises, with the movements starting from small to large and from slow to fast.

2. Wall climbing: Facing the wall, use both hands or one hand to slowly "crawl" upwards along the wall, raising your upper limbs as high as possible, and then slowly return to the original position. Repeat several times.

3. Cross your hands behind your neck, and adduct and abduct your shoulders as much as possible, repeat several times.

4. External rotation exercise: Stand with your back against a wall, clench your fists, bend your elbows, and rotate your arms outward, trying to make the back of your fists touch the wall. Repeat several times.

5. Hand-shaking exercise: The patient stands and performs shoulder flexion, extension, adduction and abduction exercises, with the range of motion increasing from small to large, repeatedly.
