Can patients with heart hypertrophy and heart failure be cured?

Heart hypertrophy and heart failure can be treated through certain methods. Common diuretic treatments can help reduce the patient's heart burden. At the same time, attention should also be paid to the correct use of some vasodilator drugs, especially for patients with coronary heart disease.

First, diuretic treatment can reduce the patient's heart burden. Some diuretics can be used. For severe patients, some furosemide can be used to reduce the patient's heart burden.

Second, there are some drugs that dilate blood vessels, also to reduce the burden on the heart. The most commonly used drugs of this type are angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEI) and angiotensin-converting enzyme receptor inhibitors (ARB). There are so many drugs of this type that I won’t list them all here.

When suffering from heart failure, patients will also have some neurological and endocrine problems, which will cause excessive secretion of some hormones. Angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors or angiotensin converting enzyme receptor inhibitors can relieve this symptom. When angiotensin-renin is secreted excessively, this converting enzyme can counteract its effects. This type of drug is a basic drug for the treatment of heart failure.

At the same time, if the patient has coronary heart disease or his hemodynamic condition is not stable, he can also be given some nitrates, such as isosorbide dinitrate. This type of drug can have a vasodilatory effect.

Third, there are beta-receptor blockers. This type of drug can be used to inhibit the sympathetic nerves or angiotensin, renin angiotensin, and at the same time reduce the heart's oxygen consumption. Long-term use can improve heart function, which has been proven by many experiments.

Conversion enzyme inhibitors, conversion enzyme receptor inhibitors and beta-blockers are one of the timely drug preparations for the treatment of heart failure and are very important.

Fourth, cardiotonic drugs can be used for more seriously ill patients, the most commonly used of which is digoxin.
