The symptoms of tinea cruris are usually the following:

Tinea cruris is a disease caused by fungal infection. Its main way of transmission is through underwear and bath towels, and it can also be transmitted through sexual intercourse. The main symptoms of this disease include redness and small papules on the inner side of the thigh near the scrotum.

1. Tinea cruris refers to a skin disease caused by fungal infection on the inner thigh, perineum, and buttocks. The fungus of tinea cruris can be transmitted through underwear, bath towels, etc.; it can be transmitted through sexual intercourse; tinea cruris is listed as a sexually transmitted disease. The pathogens that cause tinea cruris in my country are mainly Trichophyton rubrum and Trichophyton gypseum of the Trichophyton genus, Epidermophyton floccosum of the Epidermophyton genus, and a few Candida albicans. For traditional Chinese medicine treatment, you can use 300 ml of vinegar and 60 grams of gallnut, grind them into powder, mix them with vinegar, and apply them to the affected area. You can also use Pafuo Psoriasis Corning Ointment, apply it 2-3 times a day, and you will usually recover in 7 days.

2. When tinea cruris first occurs, redness and small papules appear on the inner side of the thigh near the scrotum, followed by the formation of small white scales on the top of the papules. The rash gradually spreads to the surrounding area with clear boundaries. During the onset period, papules, blisters and scales may appear at the edges at the same time, and pustules may occasionally be seen. The level of pruritus perceived by individuals varies greatly. In severe cases, the itch is unbearable, while in mild cases, there is no itch at all. The lesions may also extend to the lower abdomen, perineum and buttocks. The skin of the scrotum and penis may also be involved.

3. The disease occurs symmetrically and often even affects the entire scrotum. The affected area is extremely itchy, the course of the disease is long, and it recurs repeatedly and cannot be cured after repeated treatments. In the acute phase, there may be various changes such as papules, blisters, pustules, erosions, exudation, and scabs. The chronic stage is characterized by deepening of skin grooves, thickening of the skin, and leathery roughness of the scrotal skin. If treatment is delayed, the acute and chronic stages will transition back and forth and the disease will not heal for many years.

4. The condition is closely related to the season. It tends to spread and worsen in summer, with significant itching, while it can be naturally relieved and the condition becomes stable in winter.

5. When treating tinea cruris, you must persist in the treatment and do not stop taking the medication immediately after the symptoms are alleviated. The patient should wait until the bacterial test is negative before stopping the treatment. When treating tinea cruris, hormonal drugs cannot be used. Not only can hormonal drugs not cure tinea cruris, but they will aggravate the condition of tinea cruris and make the condition more serious.
