How to treat auricular lymph nodes

How to treat auricular lymph nodes

Auricular lymph nodes generally refer to the lymph nodes behind the ear. This is also a common clinical disease that may be encountered at all ages. Auricular lymph nodes are particularly common in children and are more likely to be caused by bacterial infection. Ear lymph nodes are also a complication of many diseases, so you must pay attention to observation during treatment. So how should the lymph nodes be treated?

1. Swollen preauricular lymph nodes

Lymph nodes in different locations emit alarm signals of different natures, which have different meanings. Swelling is the most common abnormality of lymph nodes. Preauricular lymphadenopathy is mostly seen in inflammation of the eyelids, parotid glands, cheeks, ears, zygomatic and temporal regions, etc.

2. Tough mass in the subauricular area

Parotid mixed tumor or pleomorphic adenoma is a parotid tumor containing parotid tissue, mucus and cartilage-like tissue, hence the name mixed tumor. The mucus and cartilage-like tissue are both transformed from glandular tissue. The outer layer of the tumor is a very thin capsule, which is formed by the deformation of the parotid gland tissue after being compressed, and is not a true capsule.

3. Treatment

Western medicine treatment can first use broad-spectrum antibiotics such as penicillin and streptomycin, or take azithromycin and ciprofloxacin. Traditional Chinese medicine has a unique way of using Chinese medicine to treat swollen auricular lymph nodes. It uses external treatment for internal diseases, and the efficacy of the medicine penetrates the lesion site to achieve the purpose of treatment.

4. Prevention

Develop good living habits, maintain a good attitude, stable emotions, have healthy eating habits, eat more fruits and vegetables, etc., to improve your immunity. People who must work in areas with heavy oil smoke should try to take protective measures, such as wearing masks and breathing fresh air regularly. Keep away from smoke, alcohol, drugs, radiation, pesticides, noise, volatile harmful gases, toxic and harmful heavy metals, etc.
