Lymphoma is one of the malignant tumors that endangers people's physical and mental health. Many patients have lost their lives to the disease. Patients with lymphoma are in great pain. In the early stage of lymphoma, there are no obvious characteristics, and they will only show up in the middle and late stages. Here, the author will introduce the symptoms of lymphoma. What is non-Hodgkin's lymphoma? What are the symptoms of lymphoma? (I) The main symptom or sign of malignant lymphoma is painless enlargement of superficial lymph nodes. Usually, the cervical or supraclavicular lymph nodes are involved. In addition to the involvement of the upper and lower diaphragmatic lymph nodes, careful clinical examination of NHL may reveal the involvement of other lymphoid tissue sites such as the trochlea, orbital lymph nodes and Waldeyer's ring. (ii) There may be symptoms such as fever, night sweats or weight loss. (III) Itching is more common in Hodgkin's disease than in NHL, and is usually not effectively treated with antihistamines. What is Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma? Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma is a cancer that originates from the body's lymphatic system, a malignant monoclonal proliferation of lymphoid cells located in the immune system, including the lymph nodes, bone marrow, spleen, and digestive tract. The pathologic classification of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) is still under investigation and continues to reflect new insights into the cellular origins and biologic basis of this heterogeneous disease. The course of disease varies from no apparent symptoms and early tolerability to rapid death. In some types of NHL, 50% of children and approximately 20% of adults develop leukemic changes. Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) is classified into well-differentiated or poorly differentiated lymphocytes, histiocytes, or mixed cell types based on cell type and cell arrangement. In recent years, due to the progress of immunopathology, it has been learned that lymphocytes are divided into subtypes such as T, B, and U cells that lack markers. It has also been found that most of the "tissue cells" in Rappaport's classification (including those in mixed cell types) are actually transformed B lymphocytes, and the number of cases that actually originate from tissue cells is very small. The above is my introduction to the symptoms of lymphoma and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. I hope it will be helpful to you. |
