How to treat retinal edema? Four ways to eliminate edema

Retinal edema is closely related to a person’s lifestyle. You can take hot compress treatment. The causes of retinal edema may be pathological or physiological. If it persists for a long time, you may consider seeing a doctor. Getting enough sleep and trying not to stay up late can keep our eyes bright and beautiful.

Treatment method 1: Massage

Massage can promote blood circulation in the skin around the eyes and effectively reduce swelling.

“S” shape massage on upper eyelid! Place the cotton swab horizontally on the skin of the upper eyelid, and apply along the eyelid groove from the inside in an "S" shape to the temple with a little force to drain excess water from the upper eyelid.

Gently press the eye bags!

Hold the cotton swab head upwards, and apply it from the inner corner of the eye along the root of the eyelashes to the outside, pressing and wiping at the same time. The force should be gentle and even, and wipe it in one go to the temple. This is the key to eliminating bags under the eyes. Use massage to consolidate the de-swelling effect! Use your middle finger and ring finger to pull back from the inner side of the upper eyelid and the inner side of the lower eyelid respectively, bring them together at the outer corner of the eye, and pull through the temple to the cheek to completely eliminate swelling.

Treatment method 2: Makeup

The upper and lower eyelids are bulging, the eyelids are swollen, and the eyes look smaller. The focus of makeup is to use eye shadow and bright colors to flatten or sunken the swollen eyelids. First of all, to make the swollen upper eyelids look sunken, you can apply a thin layer of dark foundation as a shadow, apply it all over the eye socket to make it flat, and make the base color look sunken. It must be coordinated with bright colors. For example, apply bright colors under the eyebrows and under the lower eyelids to emphasize the three-dimensional effect.

Use a two-tone shadow on the upper eyelid, but it is appropriate to use brown or gray without a reddish tint. Because the brown series has a mature feel, while the gray series has a natural feel. When blending upwards from the edge of the upper eyelid, the color tone should change from dark to light.

The eyeliner extends slightly outward from the end of the upper eyelid, and the area around the eye is clear to reduce the impression of eyelid puffiness. The end of the eyebrow should not be trimmed too thin, otherwise it will emphasize the eyelids and make the eyes look more swollen. The eyebrow shape should be thick and slightly close to a straight line, which can cover the swollen eyelids to a certain extent.

Treatment method 3: Cold compress

Swollen eyes can be treated with cold compresses using frozen milk. Soak the eyelids in the frozen milk, apply it on the eyes for 5 minutes, and then place two slices of pear or pineapple on the eyelids. The wet eyes will be brighter.

Or you can put a chamomile tea bag in the refrigerator to cool it down, then take it out and apply it on your eyelids, which can also have an improving effect.

Treatment method 4: more exercise

In our daily life, we should maintain a moderate amount of exercise to discharge excess water from the body, which can also relieve the symptoms of eye edema. Don't lie down and look at your phone before you retire for the night.
