Introduction to the use of catheter tampons

We all know that there is a way to use catheter-type tampons. Many women who have used tampons find it very easy to use. It breaks the constraints of our traditional sanitary napkins, reduces the risk of side leakage, and solves the problem of odor. However, the use of catheter-type tampons is more particular. Next, we will introduce you to the use of catheter-type tampons in detail.

1. First, let us understand the structure of the catheter tampon. As shown in the figure, the catheter of the catheter-type tampon is divided into an outer catheter and an inner catheter. The outer tube is printed with an outer convex pattern to prevent slipping so that the user can hold it firmly. A drawstring is left at the tail of the inner catheter.

2. After having a complete understanding of catheter tampons, for our own health, we need to wash our hands before use and check whether the packaging of the tampon is intact to ensure that the tampon is not contaminated.

3. Adjust your body to a relaxed state and adopt the most comfortable and natural posture for yourself (such as sitting on the toilet seat with your legs open, placing one leg on the toilet seat, or standing with your legs apart and bent). Open the package and hold the applicator tampon correctly. Use your thumb and middle finger to pinch the anti-slip part of the outer catheter, and place your index finger on the tail of the inner catheter.

4. Slowly push the outer catheter into the vagina until your thumb and middle finger touch your body. (If you feel pain during this process, it is likely that you pushed it in too fast. And because the female vagina is curved, if you encounter resistance during insertion, you only need to adjust the angle.)

5. Use your index finger to push the inner catheter hard to push the cotton core into the body, then remove and discard the inner and outer catheters together, leaving the drawstring outside the body. That’s it!

The above content is an introduction to the use of catheter-type tampons. Catheter-type tampons are the choice of most women abroad, so we can also try this new method. The use of tampons can greatly reduce the embarrassing problems faced during menstruation, and there will be no problem of side leakage in simple sports activities. Let's learn it quickly.
