What should I pay attention to when wearing disposable medical surgical masks

There are many things to pay attention to when wearing disposable medical surgical masks. First of all, these used masks are individually packaged and very clean, so when unpacking them, be careful not to touch the inward side of the mask with your hands, as this will bring a lot of bacteria to it. Generally, the inside is white, which is easy to distinguish. Don't make a mistake. Note that there is a metal strip to prevent it from facing outwards. This metal strip actually helps to tighten the mask so that it fits tightly to the face.

Precautions for wearing disposable masks:

1. Do not reuse disposable masks. Generally it needs to be replaced every 6 to 8 hours.

2. The outer layer of the mask often accumulates a lot of dust, bacteria and other dirt in the outside air, while the inner layer blocks the exhaled bacteria and saliva. Therefore, the two sides cannot be used alternately, otherwise the dirt contaminated on the outer layer will be inhaled into the human body when it is directly against the face, and become a source of infection.

3. When the mask is not worn, it should be folded and placed in a clean envelope, with the side close to the mouth and nose folded inward. Do not put it in your pocket or hang it around your neck.

Also, you need to tie the strap below first. Note that when tying the mask, it should cover the base of the chin and the strap should be tied behind the neck. Be careful not to tie the upper strap on the ear. It needs to be tied behind the head, and the mask must cover the mouth and nose, and the strap should be tied on the head.
