How to remove blood stains from clothes

It is easy to cause hand injuries when we cook, and blood stains can easily get on clothes, which are very difficult to clean. If blood stains appear on clothes, it will not only look very ugly, but also look untidy and unsightly. There is no special cleaning agent for cleaning blood stains on clothes, which makes it very difficult to remove. So how to remove blood stains on clothes?

1. Soak the bloodstained part with clean water first, and then gently rub it with a cotton swab covered with hydrogen peroxide according to the size of the bloodstain. You will see that the bloodstain is gone immediately. Remember to soak the clothes with water, otherwise the clothes will be corroded!!!

2. To keep white clothes and towels white, in addition to vinegar and fresh lemon, you can also use hydrogen peroxide and water in a ratio of 1:20~50 to soak and wash them. It will also have a bleaching effect without the harm to the body caused by the residual bleach!!

besides:

Just wash with ginger

Clothes stained with blood should be washed immediately in cold water. Because when the blood has not coagulated, the iron in hemoglobin exists in the form of ferrous iron and is soluble in water. Over time, the ferrous iron in hemoglobin is oxidized into ferric iron and coagulates with protein, forming blood stains on fabrics that are difficult to wash off. Therefore, as soon as blood stains the surface, you should immediately wash it with cold water (never use hot water, because blood will coagulate when it encounters heat), and then wash it with soap or 10% potassium iodide solution to remove it.

If the blood stains on the clothes have solidified and become old marks, they should be soaked in cold water for a long time first. Scrub to remove surface dirt. To remove blood stains between fibers, you can continue soaking and scrubbing with enzyme laundry detergent. The alkaline protease in enzyme laundry detergent can loosen and disintegrate the protein in the blood stains and peel them off the fabric. Then scrub with 10%~15% oxalic acid solution for 1~2 minutes, because oxalic acid is a reducing agent, which can reduce water-insoluble trivalent iron to water-soluble divalent iron. Just wash with clean water to remove the stains.

Many people think that it is very difficult to remove blood stains from clothes. In fact, many items or foods in daily life can be effective in cleaning some stains on clothes. For example, cola, lemon, etc., but for more expensive clothes, it is best to go to a dry cleaner for cleaning to avoid damaging the clothes.
