How to wash grapes

How to wash grapes

Nowadays, food hygiene and safety is an issue that most people are concerned about. Especially the fruits and vegetables in our daily diet are usually sprayed with a lot of pesticides before picking to prevent insects. If they are not washed properly, these pesticide residues will enter our body along with the food and cause harm to the body. So how should you wash fruits like grapes and raisins cleanly?

Method 1:

1. Pick the grapes one by one and put them into a basin of water, keeping the grapes intact without breaking the skin, and add some water to adjust the height of the grapes.

2. Sprinkle some flour into the water.

3. Use your palms to gently stir the water a few times.

4. Pour out the dirty water on the surface and rinse it with clean water several times until there is no turbidity.

Method 2:

1. Use a frying pan lid and cover it with a clean towel.

2. Pour the moistened grapes into the container, about the thickness of a layer of grapes at a time, and allow them to roll. Hold the flat plate with both hands and shake it back and forth to make the grapes roll evenly. In this way, the white frost on the grapes will disappear.

Method 3:

1. Add salt to grapes and stir evenly.

2. After about 20 minutes, pour out the water.

3. Rinse with clean water.

Method 4:

1. Put some toothpaste in the basin, not too much.

2. Put the grapes in and let them bubble, and the white stuff will come out.

3. Rinse it twice more and you can eat it with confidence.

Method 5: You can also put a small spoonful of starch into the water, then put the fruit in, stir the water in one direction for a while, and then wash it again with clean water, and it will be clean. The amount of starch in the water cannot be too much or too little. Too much cannot ensure the smooth rotation of the grapes, and too little cannot remove the residue on the grape skin.

The above briefly introduces several methods for cleaning grapes and raisins. Friends in need can use it as a reference. We need to remind everyone that there will inevitably be pesticide residues on the surface of grapes and raisins. When washing, do not soak them in clean water, and do not break the skin of the grapes and raisins to prevent pesticides from entering the flesh.
