What are tampons used for

In recent years, tampons have been favored by many female friends at home and abroad because of their large internal storage and absorption capacity. However, most female friends in China are very unfamiliar with tampons, a female menstrual product. They have only heard of this product, but do not know much about the use of tampons. So, what are tampons used for? Let's learn about the use of tampons.

Tampons, also known as sanitary plugs or simply cotton strips, are favored by many women for their internal placement and large absorption capacity. They are a sanitary napkin placed in the vagina during menstruation and directly absorb menstrual blood in the body. They are a cotton cylinder that can be placed in the vagina to absorb menstrual blood when a woman has her period. A habitual tampon user may use more than 10,000 tampons in their lifetime. How to use tampons:

Cellophane packaging: Wash your hands before use, tear off the seal on the tampon, remove the cellophane at the tail end, then loosen the cotton string, pinch the tail end of the tampon with one hand, remove the cellophane at the tip with the other hand, then insert the tampon into the vagina, pushing it in to a depth of about two knuckles, with the cotton string exposed outside the body.

Parts of a catheter-type tampon. The one on the left is the outer tube. The middle one is the tampon itself with the cotton thread (drawstring) attached. The one on the right is the inner tube. Tube packaging: The tampons in this type of packaging are completely covered in the catheter, so there is no need to worry about contamination from hand contact. When in use, place the front end of the outer tube of the catheter in contact with the vaginal opening, push the inner tube forward, and push the tampon into the vagina in a manner similar to injection, and then remove the catheter (outer tube and inner tube) together.

The purple-red area is the tampon placed in the vagina. There are three postures for insertion: sitting, standing with legs slightly bent, and standing with one leg across a chair. The purpose is to allow the vaginal opening to open slightly so that the tampon can be inserted smoothly. If it cannot be inserted smoothly, you can slightly change the angle of insertion and it will be pushed in smoothly. If you feel the tampon when you walk and move, it's not inserted deep enough and you can put it in a little deeper.

To remove it, just use the cotton string (drawstring) to pull the tampon out. If you can't find the cotton string, you can push the tampon out of the body by exerting force. If you cannot remove the tampon from your body smoothly, please seek help from a professional doctor as soon as possible.

Be sure to replace tampons in a timely manner.

The above content is a detailed introduction to the use of tampons. I believe that now everyone should have a clear understanding and knowledge of what tampons are used for. In fact, tampons are a kind of built-in female physiological product that absorbs menstrual blood. Everyone must use it correctly when using it to avoid causing unnecessary trouble.
