How to wash clothes that have ink on them

One of the most troublesome things for mothers is washing their children's clothes, especially for younger children, whose clothes will be very dirty in just half a day. One of the more annoying things is that when your children go to school, their clothes are more likely to be stained with ink. So how should you clean clothes when they come into contact with ink?

There are many ways to remove ink from clothes, and the following are some options:

1. New ink stains or clothes that have not been stained for a long time can be soaked in hot milk or yogurt and are easier to remove.

2. For ink stains on general clothing, you can choose a mixed solution of 1 part oxalic acid and 10 parts water, heat it, dip a cotton ball in the solution and scrub it carefully while it is still hot. As soon as the ink stain disappears, rinse it off with a little warm ammonia solution.

3. Ink stains on wool and cotton clothing can be removed with a 10% citric acid solution.

4. You can also remove ink stains by mixing 96% alcohol, 10% ammonia and water in a ratio of 1:1:1. The ammonia in it can change the color of the fabric, so the amount should be controlled when using it to avoid causing color changes.

5. Any of sodium dithionite, bleaching powder or hydrogen peroxide can effectively remove ink stains on white clothing.

6. For ink stains on white clothes, you can first moisten them with tap water, then moisten them with a mixture of slightly warm 3% hydrogen peroxide and 10% oxalic acid, and then wash them with water.

7. For blue-black ink stains on clothing, take 1 part citric acid, 10 parts distilled water, and concentrated borax. 2 parts of solution, prepared as a remover. When preparing, first dissolve citric acid in distilled water, then add concentrated borax solution and mix well. Dip a brush in this agent and apply it to the blue-black ink stains on the clothing, then use absorbent paper to absorb excess solution. After the ink stains are removed, wash with tap water.

When ink gets on clothes, especially when white clothes are stained with ink, don't be nervous and don't think that the clothes cannot be worn. As long as you use the above tips, you can clean the ink. When cleaning the ink, it is best to clean it in time, and don't wait for a long time before remembering to clean it.
