How to use tampons

Even though more and more female friends are using tampons during menstruation, they still don’t know much about how to use them. They always put tampons directly into their vaginas. Pushing them in forcefully will damage the vaginal area. Therefore, you still have to choose the right tampon according to your menstrual volume, otherwise it will cause side leakage.

The first step is to choose the right tampon based on your menstrual flow (light, moderate, heavy).

Step 2: Wash your hands with warm water and soap.

Step 3 Remove the tampon from its packaging.

The fourth step is to insert the inner tube of the tampon into the body, about a few inches, not too deep. The hands must be able to reach the outer tube.

Step 5: Continue to push the inner tube forward and push the tampon into the vagina.

Step 6: Remove the catheter (outer tube and inner tube) together.

In the seventh step, the string connected to the tampon must be left outside the vagina.

Step 8: Wrap the catheter with toilet paper and throw it into the trash can. Never flush it down the toilet.

Tips and Advice Use a tampon that is appropriate for your lowest flow requirement.

Insert the tampon slowly into the vagina without forcing it.

Best used with panty liners during the first few days of your period.

Instructions for use are included in the tampon packaging. Must read first.

If the tampon has trouble being inserted smoothly, use a small amount of lubricant.

You won't feel the tampon inside you. If you feel this way, it means you haven't gone deep enough. Remove it and replace it with a new tampon. Before pushing the inner tube over the outer tube into the vagina, try to push the outer tube slightly into the vagina.

To prevent leakage, replace it every 4-8 hours.

To prevent toxic shock syndrome, never leave a tampon in the vagina for more than 8 hours.

In the article, we have learned how to use tampons. If you don’t want your menstrual blood to leak sideways, you must change your tampon every four hours. This can also prevent bacteria from entering the vagina. And you must never let the tampon stay in your vagina for more than eight hours.
