(3) The third is to restore blood circulation. For patients with cardiac arrest, cardiopulmonary resuscitation should be performed immediately. The rescuer should master the correct posture and pressing movements of both hands during external chest compression and press the heart rhythmically.

2. Control severe bleeding: A person weighing 50 kg has 4000 ml of blood. When the blood loss reaches more than 1500 ml, it will cause insufficient blood supply to the brain, and the injured person will become confused, thirsty, dizzy, or even comatose. Methods for stopping external bleeding include:

(1) Direct pressure method. Apply direct pressure with your palms or fingers to the wound and maintain pressure for at least 15 minutes.

(2) The method of holding high. Lift the casualty's bleeding limb above the heart to slow the blood flow to the bleeding area. If conditions permit, you can put a piece of disinfected gauze or a clean piece of clothing on the wound to bandage it.

(3) Compression hemostasis. When there is severe bleeding in the limbs, it may compress important arteries in the limbs.

3. Transporting the injured: When an accidental injury occurs, it is advisable to examine the injuries of the seriously injured on the spot and give preliminary treatment before transporting them. The method of transporting depends on the injury of the injured person, the injured person's physical condition, the distance of transport and the road conditions. The main transport methods are: single-person carrying method, holding method, support method and four-person two-handed chair support method.
