Aspergillus is a common pathogen in people’s living environment. It has many different types and variants, which can cause allergies in different organs of the human body. If organ allergies caused by Aspergillus are not treated in time, it will cause serious harm to the patient's body. Therefore, this article will give a detailed introduction on how to treat Aspergillus allergy. 1. Treatment of pulmonary aspergillosis ① Parasitic pulmonary aspergillosis: Surgical resection is recommended when hemoptysis from pulmonary aspergillosis is frequent or large in amount. If the underlying disease is not suitable for surgery or the lung function is impaired and the patient is not suitable for surgery, bronchial artery embolization can be used to stop bleeding. ②Allergic pulmonary aspergillosis is treated with glucocorticoids as the first choice. ③Invasive pulmonary aspergillosis: Voriconazole, itraconazole, caspofungin, and lipid-containing preparations of amphotericin B, or conventional preparations are recommended. 2. Aspergillus rhinosinusitis The treatment of allergic rhinosinusitis should combine surgery and drug therapy. Nasal endoscopy should be used to remove nasal polyps, maintain unobstructed drainage, and thoroughly remove allergic mucin and diseased sinus mucosa. At the same time, oral glucocorticoids can reduce inflammation, eliminate edema, and effectively prevent recurrence. Generally, the dosage of prednisone should be reduced after it takes effect. 3. Cerebral Aspergillosis The available drugs include voriconazole, itraconazole, posaconazole, and intravenous drip of high-dose lipid preparations of amphotericin B, combined with stereotactic abscess drainage or brain lesion removal, which have better therapeutic effects. 4. Aspergillosis of skin, eyes, ears, etc. Active antifungal drug treatment should be given, such as voriconazole, itraconazole, amphotericin B, caspofungin, etc. In addition to drug treatment, local debridement treatment can also be given for primary cases. Endophthalmitis can be treated with intravenous amphotericin B or voriconazole. If surgery is required, amphotericin B can be injected locally. Keratitis should be treated with topical amphotericin B eye drops, or topical or systemic voriconazole, and different surgical treatments can be selected according to the condition. Aspergillus infection of the external auditory canal can be treated with topical boric acid, acetic acid irrigation solution, or azole antifungal ointment. After knowing how to treat Aspergillus allergy, we also need to remind everyone that the most common fungus in pillows is Aspergillus. Therefore, in order to reduce the occurrence of Aspergillus allergy, it is recommended that everyone should clean their pillow covers and pillow cores regularly. If someone in the family is allergic to dust mites, it is best to expose the pillow to the sun frequently before cleaning. |
