How can I remove stains from my teeth?

Teeth are very important and can help people chew food. Only with good teeth can one have a good appetite. People should have 28-32 teeth. Showing eight teeth when smiling is the most standard. White and bright teeth are a key element of a person's good image. However, if there are stains on the teeth, it is very embarrassing and gives people the impression that you are unhygienic. But even if you brush your teeth every day, you cannot remove the stains on your teeth. What should you do?

The bacteria in tooth stains are mainly streptococci and anaerobic bacteria that exist in the normal oral cavity. When tooth stains accumulate to a certain thickness, the bacteria inside close to the tooth surface begin to switch to anaerobic respiration because they are isolated from the air. The acid produced here by anaerobic respiration cannot be washed away by saliva in time, so it will corrode the mineral components in the enamel and further promote the formation of caries. Stains that accumulate at the root of the teeth can also irritate the gums and lead to periodontal diseases such as periodontitis. Therefore, tooth stains must be removed as soon as possible.

If you want to remove tooth stains, the first step is to adjust your brushing method. Note that it is best to brush your teeth from top to bottom and use the pointed bristles of the toothbrush to brush your teeth. Do not press the toothbrush on your teeth too hard, as this will have a very poor effect.

Method 1: Brushing teeth with vinegar: Take some vinegar in your mouth, gargle in your mouth but do not spit it out, hold it in your mouth for 2 to 3 minutes and then spit it out, then brush with a toothbrush, and finally rinse your mouth with warm water. Or when brushing your teeth, add two drops of vinegar to the toothpaste and brush your teeth. This will remove the tartar.

Method 2, brown sugar brushing method: first take an appropriate amount of brown sugar and put it in your mouth, hold it for about 15 minutes, so that all the teeth in your mouth are immersed in the sugar solution, then use a harder toothbrush to brush repeatedly for 2 to 3 minutes, and then use light salt water to brush your teeth for 1 to 2 minutes, once in the morning and once in the evening every day, and it can be removed for 1 week.

Method three: Brushing teeth with alum: Grind 50 grams of alum into powder, brush your teeth with some of it with a toothbrush twice a day to remove yellow tartar.

Method 4: Use lemon juice to whiten teeth. Every night after brushing your teeth, dip some lemon juice on gauze and rub your teeth, and your teeth will become white and shiny. Lemon has strong cleansing and whitening properties and contains vitamin C, which can strengthen tooth roots.

If the tooth stains are severe, you can try teeth cleaning, but I don’t know if it will have any effect on the teeth. It is best to consult a dentist and use the correct method to remove tooth stains. Teeth cleaning is not the only way to remove stains on the surface of teeth. We know that tooth stains are mainly caused by the deposition of food pigments on the tooth surface in daily life, which will cause tooth discoloration in the long run. As long as we pay attention to the cleaning of teeth, we can effectively remove tooth stains.

In life, it is best for everyone to eat less foods that are harmful to teeth, such as coffee, black tea, or smoking, and also to brush your teeth more often, especially after meals. Don't let food residues remain on your teeth for a long time, so that stains will not form. You can also try tooth cleaning powder. It is effective, but it doesn’t last long.
