Can I have a natural birth after having two abortions?

As people's worldview changes, their minds become more open, and more and more people are engaging in premarital sex. Many young people do not understand the importance of contraception and unexpected pregnancies often occur. At this time, if it is not appropriate to keep the child, they will choose to have an abortion. Some women have had two abortions before getting married. Can they still have a natural birth after two abortions?

Generally, for abortion within 10 weeks, a vacuum aspirator is used to suck out the fetus, which is called vacuum aspiration. For abortion between 10 and 14 weeks, forceps are used to clamp out most of the fetus, then suction it out, and finally scrape it clean, which is called forceps curettage. No matter which abortion procedure is used, it will inevitably damage the endometrium, but the degree of damage varies.

The front 2/3 of the endometrium is the functional layer, which is shed every month with hormone fluctuations; the back 1/3 of the endometrium is the basal layer, which generally does not change.

If the basal layer is damaged, the endometrium will become thinner, affecting the implantation of the fertilized egg, just like a thin layer of soil cannot grow plants.

Abortion is prone to risks such as uterine perforation, incomplete aspiration, missed or empty aspiration, cervical laceration, intrauterine adhesions, and amniotic fluid embolism. If secondary infection occurs, it may also cause pelvic inflammatory disease, menstrual disorders, or infertility.

After having too many abortions, the biggest fear is not being able to get pregnant. If you get pregnant, the position of the baby is usually normal and most people can give birth naturally. However, if the pregnancy is "too deep" or "too low", it will be difficult to give birth naturally.

Pregnancy is like an allogeneic transplant, and if the basal layer is damaged, the immune protection mechanism between the mother and the fetus may also be destroyed. The placenta will keep moving forward as if it is possessed... until it passes through the basal layer and enters the myometrium, and stops when it feels stable and secure. This is when placenta implantation occurs. The lining becomes thinner, and the placental blood vessels become more permeable.

If placenta accreta occurs, vaginal delivery is very dangerous. If the placenta cannot come out after the baby is born, it will cause heavy bleeding and even life-threatening.

The pregnancy is "too low" - the closer the placenta is to the cervix, the more likely it is to bleed. Especially in the late pregnancy where there is placenta previa, the more the placenta covers the cervix, the earlier and more bleeding will occur, and the more dangerous it will be.

Complete placenta previa often causes a lot of bleeding before full term, and once bleeding starts, you can't wait any longer. Moreover, the placenta blocked the exit of the uterus, so there was no way to give birth naturally. I had to have a cesarean section as soon as possible! Therefore, girls should first stay away from the crowds. If you have had multiple abortions, you should have regular prenatal checkups after you become pregnant to minimize the risk.

In addition, whether a natural birth is possible also depends on whether there are any complications during pregnancy, the condition of the pelvis, fetus, and labor force. You know, in fact, most women can give birth naturally!
