Is it good for your health to drink purified water for a long time?

In our daily life, purified water is the most convenient and fastest way to drink water. When we feel thirsty while shopping or working, we think of drinking purified water. So, is it good for our body to drink purified water for a long time? Are there toxic substances in pure water? Let us understand it together below;

Although purified water is very clean, it may pose some hidden dangers to the human body. This kind of water, which does not exist in nature, is a degraded water. Its quality has declined and its effect on the human body has "degraded". Even natural water that has not been polluted, after all the mineral elements in the water have been extracted through a series of purification processes such as reverse osmosis, will lose the support that the small molecular clusters rely on to support their structure and "degenerate", and will lose its physiological function due to the absence of any mineral elements.

In the final analysis, purified water is simply dead water, without any activity. The saying goes “When the water is too clear, there are no fish” - this is because water that is too clear contains very few minerals, which is not conducive to the growth of organisms. The same is true for people drinking water. Drinking purified water for a long time will reduce the body's immune function and cause the loss of some beneficial nutrients in the body. The elderly, especially those with cardiovascular diseases and diabetes, children and pregnant women should not drink this kind of water for a long time. Due to the widespread use of pesticides and insecticides, as well as the pollution of water sources by industrial wastewater and domestic garbage, the drinking water in some areas has become unsatisfactory, so families in some cities have begun to buy purified water for drinking. Not to mention whether the distilled water and purified water sold on the market are up to standard, just the long-term consumption of distilled water and purified water alone can pose potential hazards to your health.

First, people who drink distilled water regularly give up the 5% source of trace elements needed by the human body from water, and also give up the calcium and magnesium ions in the water that protect the body's health.

Secondly, pure water has the highest solubility. As a carrier of human waste, it will inevitably dissolve more useful elements in the body and excrete them out. The production of distilled water and purified water requires boiling the source water to allow it to evaporate, condense and be recycled, or to be produced using the reverse osmosis method. During this process, other substances in the source water used to make distilled water that evaporate when heated will also condense into the distilled water as the distilled water is produced, such as phenols and benzene compounds that are harmful to health, and even evaporable mercury. The water obtained by reverse osmosis will not be theoretically pure water.

To obtain pure water or ultrapure water, it must be distilled twice or three times, and other purification methods must be added. It is unlikely that distilled water sold on the market for drinking would do this, nor is it necessary to do so. It has been reported that some children in a certain city in our country became ill due to drinking purified water for a long time. People need water to survive. What we need is clean, natural drinking water that is harmless to the human body. We don't necessarily need to drink pure, expensive distilled water or purified water. Of course, there is no harm in drinking distilled water occasionally.

The above article describes the relevant knowledge about drinking purified water for a long time. I believe that everyone who has read this will understand that drinking purified water for a long time is not good for the body. Of course, purified water can be consumed occasionally, but for the sake of health, it is better to drink less. I also hope that this article can help more friends who are in misunderstandings.
