Acupoints refer to certain points on the human body's meridians. Traditional Chinese medicine generally uses acupuncture or massage to stimulate the skin to treat diseases. Acupoints are generally located in places with fewer nerve endings and blood vessels. Famous doctors in ancient times used this method to treat some difficult and complicated diseases. It is very effective and has been passed down through word of mouth and is still used today. Let me introduce the acupoints on the back. Baliao Point Location: Sacrum. It is also known as Shangliao, Ciliao, Zhongliao and Xialiao. There are eight acupoints on the left and right, which are located in the first, second, third and fourth posterior sacral foramina, collectively known as the "eight acupoints". Main indications: lumbar and sacral diseases, lower back pain, sciatica, lower limb paralysis, dysuria, irregular menstruation, lower abdominal distension and pain, pelvic inflammatory disease and other diseases. Feeling: Local pressing may cause soreness and swelling, and pushing and rubbing can make the local area warm and radiate to the lower abdomen. Fengmen Point Location: 1.5 inches lateral to the spinous process of the second thoracic vertebra. Indications: Commonly used for the treatment and health care of colds, coughs, fever, headaches, stiff neck pain, low back pain, etc. Gaohuang Point Location: 3 inches lateral to the spinous process of the fourth thoracic vertebra, on the inner edge of the scapula, with the elbow hugging the elbow. Zhiyang Point Location: On the back, on the posterior midline, in the depression below the spinous process of the seventh thoracic vertebra. Lingtai Point Location: On the back, on the posterior midline, in the depression below the spinous process of the 6th thoracic vertebra. Shenshu Point Location: 1.5 inches lateral to the spinous process of the second lumbar vertebra. Indications: Nourishes the brain and marrow, strengthens the waist and kidneys, relieves cough and asthma, improves hearing and eyesight. It is suitable for kidney deficiency, low back pain, soreness of waist and knees, tinnitus and dizziness, forgetfulness and insomnia, impotence and spermatorrhea, irregular menstruation, neurasthenia, male infertility, female infertility, cor pulmonale and asthma, kidney failure to absorb air, pediatric maldevelopment, and various deficiencies and damages. It has the effect of strengthening the whole body and has certain effects on kidney deficiency and nephritis. Generally speaking, different acupoints have different functions. Nowadays, medical technology is becoming more and more advanced, and the technology for treating difficult and complicated diseases is becoming more and more sophisticated. However, acupuncture is still considered a relatively innovative treatment method in traditional Chinese medicine, and it is convenient and fast. So if you feel that there is a disease that is not cured by taking medicine, you might as well try acupuncture. |
