Is there radiation in the power distribution room?

As technology develops, it also brings some negative effects to people. For example, electronic products carry radiation that can be found everywhere. We know that computers have radiation, televisions have radiation, and even mobile phones have radiation, so does the distribution room have radiation? We know that every community or some large shopping malls have a distribution room. It cannot be said that there is no radiation, but the radiation here is very small and does almost no harm to human health.

1. The distribution room in the community is basically harmless to the human body.

2. Daily electricity provides "industrial frequency alternating current" with a frequency of 50Hz. When current flows through a conductor, a magnetic field with the same frequency as the current will indeed be generated around the conductor;

3. When high-frequency alternating current flows through a conductor, it will also generate an electromagnetic field with the same frequency around the conductor, and it will also radiate into space and can penetrate non-metallic materials. If the non-metallic material contains water at this time, the electromagnetic wave will cause the water molecules to vibrate and rub violently, generating heat;

4. From the above two points, it can be seen that industrial frequency alternating current generates a magnetic field around the conductor, and it is only possible to induce current when it is a "closed conductor"; high-frequency alternating current can radiate electromagnetic waves into space rather than just a magnetic field. Electromagnetic waves can "act" on water molecules and cause water-containing substances to generate heat. From this analysis, we can know that although "electromagnetic field" and "electromagnetic wave" are only "one letter difference", they are two completely different concepts; electromagnetic waves may cause harm to humans, and they will indeed have an impact and harm on humans. However, although electromagnetic fields exist and humans can be called conductors, the most important point is that a person's body cannot form a closed loop. Even if there is electromagnetic induction, no induced current can be generated, so this electromagnetic field does not "work" on the human body.
