Why have I been feeling nauseous lately?

Nausea is generally caused by the patient's inappropriate eating habits in daily life or other reasons. However, some patients will experience constant nausea, and taking a lot of medicines does not improve the condition much. This also makes patients very worried. In severe cases, malnutrition and other phenomena may occur. So why have you been feeling nauseous recently? Let’s take a look together!

Nausea is a feeling of discomfort in the stomach that can cause the urge to vomit. Vomiting is a pathological physiological reflex that forces the contents of the stomach to be expelled through the mouth through strong contractions of the stomach. The two can accompany each other or exist independently. There are many causes of nausea and vomiting, such as (1) infectious diseases of the digestive system: food poisoning, acute gastroenteritis, viral hepatitis; (2) visceral pain diseases: acute intestinal obstruction, pancreatitis, cholecystitis, peritonitis; (3) central nervous system diseases: encephalitis, meningitis, hypertensive encephalopathy; try metoclopramide.

4. Drug-induced: chemotherapy drugs, digitalis drugs, certain antibiotics such as erythromycin;

6. Neurogenic vomiting: Some people have had the disease since childhood or school days, and there may be a family history, which is more common in women;

Nausea is caused by some chemical change in the body or a variety of other factors, ranging from travel fatigue to emotional discomfort to reactions to bad smells. Nausea can be caused by stomach upset, or it can be a sign of a more serious illness. Some people who experience nausea often also experience dizziness, excessive salivation, sweating, and low blood pressure.

Patients with severe nausea must eat more light vegetables and fruits in their daily lives, and avoid eating too much spicy, greasy and other foods that irritate the stomach, otherwise it will aggravate the nausea. So you must pay attention. Severe patients should go to the hospital for examination, which will be safer.
