How to preserve black tea

How to preserve black tea

The black tea sold on the market is all vacuum-packed, but if you don't drink tea often, when the black tea is opened, the moisture in the air will change the taste of the black tea. Therefore, you must pay attention to the method of preserving black tea. You can put the bagged black tea in an iron box in a dry place, avoiding sunlight. This way it can be preserved for a longer time, but try to drink it within a short time.

Correct way to store black tea:

Method 1: The water content of dry black tea is not high, so it is very absorbent and can easily emit fragrance everywhere, so you must use a special container to store it.

Method 2: When you buy the tea, it will come with a tea can or tea bag, which can only be stored for a short time. It is best to store the tea in a special container.

Method 3: It is best to ensure that the black tea can be stored in a constant temperature place. Too large a temperature difference can easily cause the black tea to deteriorate, so special attention should be paid.

Method 4: Black tea should be stored in a dry place. It is not suitable to store it in a humid place. It is hoped that the aroma of the black tea will disappear while absorbing moisture.

Method 5: Choose a special tea can for black tea. It must be well sealed. Once it gets damp and deteriorates, the whole can of black tea will be ruined.

Method 6: Black tea cans should not be placed in places exposed to sunlight. The sunlight will heat up the tea can. If the temperature difference is large, the aroma of the black tea will easily escape and the taste will not be as good as before.

It is best to store tea in a tea can in a dark, dry place. It is best to drink the tea as soon as possible after opening, otherwise the taste and aroma will be lost. Different teas should not be mixed for drinking, so as not to lose the original flavor of the tea.

Color, aroma and taste:

Tea color: The color of black tea is red or orange due to the chemical changes caused by the acidification of tannins in the tea leaves.

Aroma: The characteristic of black tea, a fully fermented tea, is its flavor, while other types of tea, such as unfermented green tea or semi-fermented Chinese tea, are relatively more characterized by their aroma.

Taste: Black tea contains tannins, caffeine and amino acids, so it has a unique aroma.
