However, it is not advisable to remove it at the skin suture to avoid a sunken deformity. If the skin on one side is loose, it can be removed in a fusiform shape together with the mucosa, and then the skin on one side can be transferred to the other side to repair the eversion and avoid a linear scar.

(2) If the lower lip is completely everted: If the skin of the lower jaw is loose, a skin flap curved toward the chin can be designed at the lower jaw outside the affected side of the mouth corner and transferred to the lower lip to repair the eversion.

(3) Eversion caused by localized skin defect on one side of the lower lip: A skin flap can be designed at the corner of the mouth, and the lip edge can be cut open to fully free the subcutaneous tissue and completely loosen the adhesion of the red lip. Then the flap can be pulled and fixed at the corner of the mouth, and the skin flap at the corner of the mouth can be transferred to the defect of the lower lip for repair.
