The efficacy of selenium-rich buckwheat tea

The efficacy of selenium-rich buckwheat tea

Buckwheat tea is a type of tea that people often drink, so the effect of selenium-rich buckwheat tea should be relatively large. Because this tea contains the trace element selenium, it has a very good effect on the human body. People who drink tea regularly should know that tea can prevent cancer and refresh the mind. So people choose to drink tea more often. But what are the effects of selenium-rich buckwheat tea?

Endocrine system

1. Hypoglycemic effect

Buckwheat bioflavonoids can promote the recovery of pancreatic beta cells, lower blood sugar and serum cholesterol, improve glucose tolerance, and counteract the blood sugar-raising effect of adrenaline. It can also inhibit aldose reductase, so it can treat diabetes and its complications.

2. Lowering blood lipids

The quercetin and other substances rich in buckwheat bioflavonoids can lower triglycerides, total cholesterol and reduce the atherosclerosis index.

3. Cardiovascular system

1. Effect on myocardium

It can be used to treat heart rhythm disorders, angina pectoris, myocardial infarction and other diseases.

2. Effects on blood vessels

Buckwheat bioflavonoids are rich in rutin and other substances that have the effect of dilating blood vessels, while quercetin, morin, etc. can improve the contraction and relaxation function of vascular smooth muscle.

4. Antibacterial and antiviral

Studies have confirmed that quercetin, morin and kaempferol, which are rich in buckwheat bioflavonoids, have antibacterial and antiviral effects. The clinical application of this flavonoid has a unique therapeutic effect of removing dead tissue, promoting tissue regeneration, and relieving inflammation and pain in ulcers caused by various reasons.

5. Antioxidant Effect

3-OH, 5-OH, 4-carbonyl and double bonds at positions 2 and 3 play a leading role in inhibiting the auto-oxidation of oils and fats. The ability to inhibit lipid oxidation is quercetin> morin> rutin.

6. Anti-cancer and cancer prevention

The flavonoids such as quercetin rich in buckwheat bioflavonoids mainly achieve anti-cancer and cancer prevention effects through three pathways, namely, anti-free radical effect, direct inhibition of cancer cell growth, and anti-carcinogenic factors. The pentaerythrin contained in the Tatar buckwheat bioflavonoids is an excellent drug for preventing, fighting and treating cancer.

7. Eliminate free radicals

Free radicals are the root cause of cancer, aging, and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular degenerative diseases. Because buckwheat flavonoids are easily oxidized, they have the function of scavenging free radicals. The molecular structure of buckwheat bioflavonoids conforms to the effective phenolic hydroxyl theory and has extremely strong free radical scavenging ability. They have five hydroxyl groups, which can fully serve as hydrogen donors to reduce free radicals, thereby achieving the purpose of scavenging free radicals and achieving the purpose of anti-aging, anti-cancer, and anti-cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.

8. Bone tissue

Buckwheat bioflavonoids can be used to treat bone diseases and osteoporosis. Its mechanism of action is as follows: First, it can inhibit the increase in collagen synthesis caused by prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) and the decrease in collagen synthesis caused by PGE2, that is, it inhibits {BH}-proline from entering into digestible collagen and non-collagen proteins, and mainly acts on the synthesis of non-collagen proteins at low concentrations of PGE2, and mainly acts on collagen synthesis at high concentrations of PGE2. Therefore, it can be used to treat bone diseases; secondly, it can increase the sensitivity of the thyroid gland to estrogen, enhance the secretion of calcitonin by thyroid C cells, and ultimately inhibit bone reabsorption to treat osteoporosis; thirdly, it can inhibit the decrease in bone density and bone calcium content caused by calcium and vitamin D deficiency in the diet.

9. For the immune system

Buckwheat bioflavonoids can significantly and effectively increase the body's nonspecific immune function and humoral immune function.

10. Protect liver

Buckwheat bioflavonoids have certain therapeutic effects on acute and chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis, fatty liver, and toxic liver damage caused by galactosamine and CCL4. Studies have shown that buckwheat bioflavonoids have a significant inhibitory effect on the increase in liver malondialdehyde (MDA) (the end product of hepatic lipid peroxidation) content caused by CCL4. It can reduce the consumption of glutathione (GSH) caused by liver damage; it can protect the integrity of cell structure and prevent the activity of soluble enzymes such as transaminases in liver cells from increasing due to leakage from cells; the liver protection mechanism of buckwheat bioflavonoids ultimately lies in its antioxidant and anti-free radical effects.

11. Anti-ultraviolet

The flavonoids such as quercetin rich in buckwheat bioflavonoids are a light shielding substance that has the function of absorbing ultraviolet rays. It can protect biologically active substances such as ascorbic acid from oxidation and maintain their activity. It is an excellent antioxidant. Its chelation effect and gene expression have obvious functions in reducing fat oxidation and degeneration. In particular, the flavonoids have a significant effect on skin health, rejuvenation, blood vessel health, and anti-inflammatory effects, so some people call it "skin nutrient".
