The ratio of the length of the ring finger to the index finger can predict many of people's behaviors, such as whether they have a bad temper, are prone to fighting, have difficulty concentrating, and even whether they will be the winner in a race.

Typical male hand: the ring finger is longer than the index finger;

A typical female hand: The index finger may be longer than the ring finger, or the same length.

1. Brainpower

Through research, researchers revealed that people whose index fingers are longer than their ring fingers are more likely to obtain higher education.

British research shows that the relative length of the ring finger and index finger can reflect the extent of the fetus's exposure to testosterone in the mother's body, and the impact of this hormone on brain development can lead to differences in the ability to learn new technologies.

The researchers surveyed 150 computer science students about their technical abilities. The results showed that students whose ring fingers were longer than their index fingers tended to be better at learning technology. The relative length of the ring finger and index finger is determined by the amount of testosterone the fetus is exposed to in the mother's body. The more testosterone the fetus is exposed to, the longer the ring finger will be.

The researchers also surveyed 119 liberal arts students about their performance in learning technology. The results also showed that students whose ring fingers were shorter than their index fingers tended to have more anxiety when learning to use new technologies such as computers, and exhibited "technophobia."
