Sound-insulating cotton is mostly made of rubber material, closed-pore structure, and is relatively solid. Its main function is to block noise. Sound-absorbing cotton and sound-insulating cotton are both indispensable in noise reduction construction. When the noise reduction requirements are relatively high, it is necessary to use the two together. The noise can be attenuated to a very small level after multiple filtering in the order of sound insulation, sound absorption and sound isolation.

1. Pay attention to the selection and arrangement of panels before construction to avoid slight color differences. Polyester sound-absorbing panels are made of 100% polyester fiber and are formed by hot pressing. Due to the different production batches of colored silk, slight color differences are easily produced under the action of light. Therefore, when purchasing, try to use polyester sound-absorbing panels produced by the same batch number. Before construction, arrange the polyester sound-absorbing panels, adjust the color difference, and then install them according to the adjusted arrangement order (it is best to wear gloves to avoid contamination). 2. It is advisable to use a rigid ruler to cut the board surface. During construction, the polyester fiber sound-absorbing board needs to be cut. It is recommended to use a steel ruler or alloy square steel as a ruler (do not use wooden strips or soft materials as a ruler) to avoid the cutting lines being not straight, causing the splicing gap to be too large or twisted. In order to reduce the joint gap, the blade can be tilted inward by 0.5~1mm during cutting to form a slope on the interface surface, which makes it easier to connect the panels during construction and reduces the gap.
